After 5,300 Red Bulls, 26,880 hours of work, and 28,000 code commits, our LiveAnswer team is excited to finally announce the release of LiveAnswer 3.0. The services that we love providing for you just got better.
Our team at LiveAnswer is always striving to improve our services to make your customer experience better. This week’s update offers improvements that will make providing our agents with information easier and more streamlined, as well as added security for our customers.
Notice something different? Our team at LiveAnswer is ecstatic to announce several new changes coming in the next couple of weeks. This week we have added a new sleek and user-friendly design to make way for all of the new features planned for you: including more complex call flows and intelligent inbox and contact views. There are many more improvements planned, and we want to make sure you are up-to-date on everything there is to know!
We have some exciting news to share!
As you know, our team at LiveAnswer is always looking for ways to improve the services we offer. For the past 2½ years, we have successfully delivered on this promise with the release of our mobile apps, instant self-service functionality, standard reports and streamlined client portal interface.
We have introduced a new feature on the LiveAnswer script builder: Drafts. Building scripts as a team will now be easier than ever. When working on your script, click “Save Draft,” and any changes will be saved for your team to review, without having to publish anything live. This way, scripts can be edited at your own pace, while calls are taken using the previously published script.
LiveAnswer is powered by Twilio and we just returned back from Twilio Signal conference in San Francisco. They launched a lot of new products including Programmable Wireless. Programable Wireless allows you to integrate cellular data, SMS and voice communications into connected devices which means you can build communication workflows for cellular-connected Iot devices.
There are an endless amount of use cases including wearables, agricultural monitoring, automotive tracking and security. We decided to build a simple proof of concept to show you how it works – a luggage tracker. All you have to do is send the device a text message that says “Where are you?” and the device responds back with the location.
We’ve provided the source code and how-to explanation below. It should take you less than hour to put this together.
LiveAnswer is hiring!
